Co-working space welcomes local barber for pop-up event
Shire House, the co-working space based in Lichfield, welcomed local barber Jack Dickinson into its premises for a special pop-up event - offering professional haircuts and styling to both tenants and members of the public.
The initiative marked the first of its kind for Shire House and forms part of a wider effort to position the space as more than just a place to work.
Throughout the day, Jack provided a full barbering service on site, giving busy professionals and tenants the chance to fit in a trim in a dedicated room.
Jack (pictured) said: “It was great to be invited into Shire House and meet so many people I might not normally cross paths with.
“Being able to bring my services into a shared workspace felt like a really natural fit and there was such a friendly atmosphere.
“I loved chatting with people while helping them feel fresh and confident, I would absolutely love to do more events like this in the future.”
Amanda Watson, operations director at Shire House, added: “We are really passionate about making the space more than just co-working.
“This collaboration was about creating something useful, enjoyable, and community driven for our tenants while also opening our doors to the wider public.”
