College backs Chamber leadership campaign
A Birmingham education establishment has been confirmed as a headline partner for the Chamber 's Growth Through People productivity and leadership campaign.
Growth Through People aims to help local firms boost productivity through improved leadership and people management skills.
South and City College Birmingham have agreed to support the event as a headline partner.
Delivered by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce with a range of partners, it includes free training sessions, workshops and webinars alongside research and thought leadership content, all delivered together with Chamber members.
The 2021 campaign attracted around 400 delegates.
There were also 24 thought leadership blogs, advice from 16 local leaders in social media videos, and a four-podcast mini-series on the Chamber Podcast.
The campaign hashtag reached more than 300,000 accounts on Twitter alone. The 2021 campaign was delivered in partnership with over 50 Chamber member and stakeholder organisations.
2022 is the sixth year of the campaign.
It will commence on Monday (28 February) with Growth Through Responsible Leadership Week and end with a conference on 30 March at Eastside Rooms.
Each week of the campaign will feature an event and a webinar, each offering expert advice and peer-to-peer guidance on a key area of leadership and people management, supported by podcasts and thought leadership blog content.
South and City College Birmingham will join Aston University, Birmingham City Council and the West Midlands Combined Authority as headline sponsors and partners of the campaign.
