Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) are calling on businesses to get involved in their 'Blue Ladder' programme providing Korean students with global internships.

BSDC has been successful in securing funds from the Korean Government to deliver the 'Blue Ladder ' programme, a government led programme which seeks to to provide low-income Korean students with a global internship learning from the best around the world.

The programme is a mix of English language / vocational training and industry focussed seminars/virtual company visits and will be held on-line from the 4 January to the 10 February.

The college are looking to fill the gaps in certain expert areas, including hearing from businesses in health care and general business (Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Support, Service etc).

Specifically, the programme is looking for those in these chosen sectors to give a presentation on a certain aspect of their business, as well as potentially provide 'virtual company tours ' by providing pictures of their business / facilities.

BSDC have an allocation of funds to pay for the sessions, which will be coordinated by tutors.

This is an opportunity to showcase your business to Korean young people helping raise their aspirations and see some of the amazing talent, businesses and facilities we have in the UK.
