Solihull College & University Centre has announced the launch of a brand-new bootcamp centred on podcast production.

Whether you’re new to the creative sector, looking to upskill, or simply want to get started in podcasting, the bootcamp caters to all interested in producing podcasts.

Taking place on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, the bootcamp is scheduled to fit around your 9-5.

With both online and in person learning, attendees will get the training, skills, guest speakers, access to equipment, and everything in between to be able to produce their own podcast series in just 11 weeks.

Mentored by renowned Audio, Podcast and Oral History producer and curator, Dr Siobhán Stevenson, this bootcamp is in partnership with Creativity and Culture WM Podcast, Solihull College & University Centre, and funded by West Midlands Combined Authority.

Dr Siobhán Stevenson said: "This course is designed for anyone from any discipline, wanting to learn a new skill. With the help of industry professionals and guest speakers, week by week we take you through each step needed to make and distribute a podcast.

“From business to comedy, this course will help you create a format, identify your audience and make great podcasts that keep them coming back for another episode."
