College reports GCSE maths and English results success

South Staffordshire College is once again celebrating positive GCSE results, with students achieving a 90 per cent pass rate.

Among the highlights, more learners in 2022-23 have achieved an English and maths qualification than in 2021-22.

Deputy CEO Kirk Hookham said: “I'm absolutely delighted that once again our students have achieved some fantastic GCSE English and maths results.

“This is due to their hard work and dedication as well as excellent teaching and learning support throughout the year.

“Not only are learners making the most out of their time in the classroom but also buying into the college's continued investment into online learning facilities and bespoke one to one and small group tuition sessions outside of their timetabled hours.”
