Colliers appointed as rating surveyors to equestrian organisations

Colliers Business Rates Team has been appointed as rating surveyors to two equestrian organisations: The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association and the National Trainers’ Federation.

The appointments are from immediate effect.

The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association is reputed to be “The voice of British breeding and the thoroughbred, within the sport, with government and on the international stage.”

It supports breeders with advice, guidance and training for their bloodstock operations and funds important veterinary research for the long-term future of horse health. 

The National Trainers Federation is an organisation for racehorse trainers holding current licenses issued by the British Horseracing Authority.

Its objective is to represent and protect trainers’ interests by liaising and negotiating with other industry bodies, national agencies and organisations and providing up to date information to members about any matters affecting their business.

Colliers will be working closely with Christopher Marriott who is the current represents the NTF.

Colliers is already well known in the horse racing world for its ratings advice to several of the leading racecourses run by The Jockey Club including Aintree, Cheltenham, Haydock Park, Epsom Downs and Warwick as well as other courses across England and on many of the racecourses in Scotland.

It advises established clubs and newer entrants. It also advises the Polo Club at Newmarket.

It’s the nation’s second largest spectator sport with over 5 million people visiting British racecourses every year.
