The Birmingham head of real estate firm Colliers has been announced as a speaker for Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s forthcoming Quarterly Business Report launch.

James Cubitt (pictured) is head of the Birmingham office and co-head of the Birmingham Valuation Department at Colliers.

He is speaking at the event on 29 April at Birmingham City University’s Curzon Building.

James has worked in Valuation since 1999 and joined Colliers in 2006. He has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the four core property sectors.

James provides valuation advice for a variety of purposes including secured lending, financial statements and acquisition and disposal. James also acts as an expert witness in Property Disputes.

As the GBCC flagship economic publication, the Quarterly Business Report is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city-region.

Underpinning the report is data gathered from quarterly surveys completed by businesses from across the Greater Birmingham area.

The Quarterly Business Report event is delivered in partnership with Chamber patron Birmingham City University.

Delegates in attendance will have the opportunity to receive a copy of the report and watch a detailed presentation of the results and wider trends, followed by an expert panel discussion on investments trends.

This panel will be chaired by Raj Kandola, deputy CEO at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.

Raj said: "James brings a wealth of experience and insight from across the property sector, and we are delighted that he will be joining the panel at our Quarterly Business Report Briefing in April.

“His extensive knowledge of valuation and deep understanding of the Midlands market will provide valuable perspective as we explore investment trends and the opportunities for growth across the Greater Birmingham region."

Bookings are now open to all members and non members of the Chamber.
