Commonwealth Games sustainability webinar tomorrow

Gowling WLG, the official legal advisers to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be hosting a webinar on sustainability and reflections of the Commonwealth Games.

The webinar is scheduled to start at 12 pm tomorrow, 12 October.

The event, chaired by partner and leading planning and environmental lawyer Ben Stansfield, will bring together an esteemed panel of speakers to discuss the Games' approach to:

  • carbon management and its goal to create a carbon neutral legacy;
  • sustainability in the supply chain; and
  • communicating sustainability measures and practices externally and to stakeholders both externally and internally.

The session will provide insight and practical information useful for all businesses.

The panel for this event includes head of sustainability at Birmingham 2022, Jessica Fidler, sustainability coordinator at Birmingham 2022, Jo Leigh, and head of procurement at the Games, Sally Russell.
