Comms agency makes six new hires
Communications consultancy Liquid has strengthened its Birmingham-based with six new appointments, following a successful first half of 2021.
The hires include social media manager Claudia Kennedy, PR account manager Heather Woodhouse, digital marketing manager Rebecca Barrett, digital designer Leigh Wodke, senior digital marketing executive Luke Horton and social media executive Vanessa Clark.
The new additions to the team will add a wealth of experience across PR, social media and digital to support the growing number of new client contracts and the company 's ambitious growth trajectory.
Claudia Kennedy joins the team from Ecorys UK Ltd, where she led a Europe-wide paid advertising campaign, utilising a six-figure budget to communicate the importance of social rights. She also has extensive experience in event facilitation, email marketing and community management.
Heather Woodhouse joins from Homes England where she managed the PR activity for the government 's Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme.
She has also previously worked for a range of well-known brands such as Gtech, Virgin Money, and Vitality CBD.
Rebecca Barrett has made the move to Liquid from The Active Wellbeing Society where she was responsible for digital communications and worked on the society 's award-winning #BrumTogether campaign.
Rebecca has also previously lived in Australia where she worked with American Express and has a strong background in online lead generation campaigns, content writing and data analysis.
Leigh Wodke joins Liquid from IvyJack Communications and has nine years ' experience in digital design.
She has previously worked with clients across a range of sectors including technology, property, and food and drink; including well-known brands such as Samsung, Lenovo, and Pirelli.
Luke Horton joins the team from Academy Music Group where he was Marketing Manager at O2 Academy and O2 Institute Birmingham.
Here, Luke was responsible for marketing the company 's largest portfolio of concerts and, in 2019, was awarded AMG 's Marketer of the Year for 2018-19.
Vanessa Clark joins Liquid after spending the last two years working for an independent, personalised gift company.
In this role, she managed the company social channels, including community management and customer service, as well as launching and running its Amazon FBM store.
