Community Foundation gains global accreditation
The Community Foundation for Staffordshire has been awarded the globally recognised ISO 9001 certification for the support offered to the community, with inspectors giving a near-perfect score.
The Community Foundation raises and distributes funds on behalf of local authorities, businesses, and individuals to the voluntary sector.
The charity aims to tackle disadvantaged and excluded local communities through the allocation of endowments and grants.
For recipients, this quality management accreditation shows them that the utmost care and attention is taken over their applications, assuring donors that their generosity will be directed to where it is needed most whether across physical and mental health services, education, employability or enterprise.
Many local businesses are sponsoring, hosting, and participating in a varied programme of events in aid of The Community Foundation for Staffordshire.
First Class Technologies, managed IT and cloud specialists, celebrated 25 years of business and held a quiz event to support the Community Foundation.
And taking up the baton is Staffordshire-based business consultancy, The Bill of Consulting, currently organising a golfing afternoon on Tuesday 9 August at Chase Golf and Country Club in support of the charity.
There are still team spaces and sponsorship available for this event, get in touch with Faye Williams (faye.williams@staffordshire.foundation) for further details.
Future events include a free summer music concert at Lichfield Cathedral, car shows and more.
