Community interest company launched to strengthen human capacity across the region
Jules Mitchell, founder of The Mental Wealth Revolution, has launched Mental Wealth Community CIC, a new not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping individuals, families and communities access practical education, support and development opportunities.
Based in the West Midlands, the CIC has been created to extend the impact of Jules' work beyond commercial programmes and into communities where access to support, education and personal development opportunities can be limited.
The launch comes at a time when increasing numbers of individuals, workplaces and communities are facing challenges relating to stress, social isolation, confidence, emotional wellbeing and reduced coping capacity.
Jules (pictured) said: "Over the years we've had the privilege of supporting thousands of people through our work.
“Creating Mental Wealth Community CIC is our way of giving something back and ensuring more people can access practical tools, education and opportunities that help them move forward in life.
“We believe that strengthening human capacity, confidence and community connection is one of the most important investments we can make in the future of our communities."
The CIC will deliver community workshops, educational programmes, peer learning opportunities and partnership projects designed to improve confidence, connection, participation and opportunity.
The organisation builds upon a long history of community impact.
Previous projects led by Jules and her team have helped people increase confidence, access education, gain employment, start businesses and create positive change within their communities.
This work has received multiple awards and recognition, contributing to Jules being selected as a Baton Bearer for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Mental Wealth Community CIC is now seeking partnerships with businesses, charities, community groups and public sector organisations that share a commitment to creating stronger, healthier and more connected communities across the West Midlands.
