grounded., the community-led wellbeing café from Living Well Consortium, has launched a new programme of affordable wellbeing events designed to give people across Birmingham opportunities to connect, learn, relax and try something new in a welcoming and accessible environment.

Running across grounded.’s three Birmingham locations in Selly Oak, St Paul’s and Hall Green, the programme offers a varied mix of activities throughout the autumn and winter, with events designed to support wellbeing in different ways.

The programme includes regular yoga sessions, alongside creative, social and relaxation-focused activities.

Upcoming events include festive cookie decorating, wreath making, board games, hypnotherapy and other wellbeing sessions, offering something to suit different interests and preferences.

grounded. aims to make wellbeing activities accessible and approachable, providing a space where people can take time for themselves, meet others and enjoy activities without the pressure or stigma that can sometimes surround conversations about mental health.

The full programme, including dates, times, locations and prices, can be found on the grounded. website.

Most sessions are priced between £3 and £5, making the programme accessible to people across the community. Places are limited for some activities, so advance booking is recommended.

Alex Jordan, area manager at grounded., said: “We’re really pleased to launch our latest programme of wellbeing events across grounded.

“We want our spaces to be places where people can come together, take a breath and do something positive for their wellbeing. Whether that’s joining a yoga class, getting creative, meeting others over a board game or simply trying something new, there’s something for everyone.”

grounded. is part of Living Well Consortium, working alongside partners to provide accessible, community-based support for people across Birmingham.

Alongside its wellbeing programme, grounded. offers a welcoming space for people to access information, signposting and support.
