Computers donated to charity by managed services firm
Staff at independent supplier of managed IT services, Document Network Services (DNS), have distributed a number of new computers to local charities.
The HP computers were delivered to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, Harmless and Me & Dee in December.
Martin Lenton, managing partner at DNS, dropped off a PC to Bluebell Wood Children 's Hospice, which will be going into the charity's teenager room to help service users chill out and play games.
Bluebell Wood 's regional fundraiser wrote on LinkedIn: “Great to see Martin Lenton today, who has kindly donated a HP Pro One 440 G4 to Bluebell Wood Children 's Hospice.
"Thank you so much for thinking of us this time of year. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year. ”
Steve Lockwood, managed services consultant at DNS, delivered the PC to Harmless, a leading service provider in the field of self-harm, by providing ease of access to service for people who self-harm as well as their friends and families.
The charity wrote on Twitter: “From all of us here at Harmless, we would like to say a huge thank you to Steve Lockwood and all at DNS in Derby for donating a new PC that will enable us to provide more efficient support to those in need by replacing one of our old, slow and outdated PCs. Thank you! ”
Maria, founder of the charity wrote on Facebook: “This is such amazing support, we really appreciate all that you do for us. ”
