Conflict resolution specialists help local charities through pro bono mediation
Mediation specialists SAM Resolutions provided their expertise to charities Smile Mediation Ltd and Derby Community Mediation Service on a pro bono basis.
The organisation offered specialist advice to help the charities continue their work supporting people and communities to resolve conflict peacefully across the region.
Both charities provide an essential lifeline for individuals and neighbours navigating difficult conflicts. Community mediation introduces an independent, confidential, and completely impartial framework.
The process allows disputing parties to safely discover common ground and collaborate on mutually acceptable solutions.
Founded by CEDR-accredited mediator Stuart Allen, SAM Resolutions takes a practical, people-focused approach to helping organisations address conflict earlier and build more open, collaborative workplace cultures.
Stuart (pictured) said: “Conflict rarely starts with a grievance, a formal complaint or a difficult employee. It usually starts much earlier with a conversation that wasn't had, a concern that wasn't heard or a misunderstanding that was allowed to grow.
“At SAM Resolutions, we want to help organisations have those conversations earlier, before conflict becomes a problem.”
