Birmingham-based corporate gifting company Boxxedup has acquired luxury chocolatier Chouchoute, marking a further step in its expansion within the premium gifting sector.

Chouchoute Luxury Chocolates, a Birmingham brand known for its personalised and branded chocolate boxes, supplies products for corporate events and employee gifting.

The name “Chouchoute”, meaning “to be pampered” in French, reflects its focus on high-end presentation and bespoke confectionery.

The acquisition strengthens Boxxedup’s position in the luxury gifting market, adding a specialist chocolate offering to its existing range of curated gift boxes and hampers.

Based in the Jewellery Quarter, Boxxedup provides corporate gifting solutions featuring products such as cheese, wine, beer and candles, sourced from a range of suppliers.

Chouchoute has focused on a European-inspired chocolate range, working with suppliers from France, Belgium and the UK.

Its products are positioned around high-quality ingredients and presentation, with a particular emphasis on branding and personalisation for business customers.

Co-owner Cat Booth said: “Boxxedup are excited to announce the acquisition of Chouchoute Luxury Chocolates, a long-standing chocolate brand in Birmingham showcasing high-quality and beautifully presented chocolates, delivered straight to your door.”
