Corporate teambuilding day a knockout success
A corporate teambuilding day held in aid of the Kaleidoscope Plus Growth has been deemed as a success.
Businesses from across the region came together for the inaugural event titled ‘It’s a Knockout!’ It was held at Pageant Field at Warwick Castle, overlooking the banks of the River Avon.
Established in 1973, Kaleidoscope Plus Group (KPG) is a leading mental health and wellbeing charity committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities across the UK.
The entertaining and inclusive event was the first of its kind by the newly formed fundraising team at Kaleidoscope Plus Group—an outstanding achievement for the charity dedicated to providing mental health and wellbeing services in our community.
80 participants from 7 businesses, including Assured Partners, Blackthorns Chartered Accountants, Higgs LLP, JW Hinks, Melrose Industries plc, Morgan Sindall and Squire Patton Boggs donned their corporate t-shirts to take on a series of classic “knockout” team challenges using props and costumes from the original BBC TV show.
The games were designed to bring out collaboration, laughter and some healthy competition.
Calum Nisbet, CEO at Kaleidoscope Plus Group said: “Our aim was to combine team spirit and fun with a meaningful cause to present a day like no other.
“Seeing everyone come together—with smiles, team tactics, and determination —was truly uplifting.
“Most importantly, thanks to the teams who took part and to our sponsors Nick Mowl Cup, GMS Security and Pertemps we raised much-needed funds to help support people suffering with poor mental health.”
The winners of It’s a Knockout! 2025 were Assured Partners. A spokesperson from the winning team said: “It was a brilliant opportunity to come together as a team, have fun, and support such an important cause. We’re delighted to have won!”
Following its resounding success, plans are underway for It’s a Knockout! 2026, aiming to welcome more businesses and raise even more funds and awareness for Kaleidoscope’s mission in 2026.
