Council backs Chamber’s Lichfield Business of the Year award

A prestigious Chamber award recognising businesses across the Lichfield area has received backing from Lichfield District Council.

The council is sponsoring the Lichfield Business of the Year accolade at the tenth annual Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce (SLTC) Awards.

More than 250 people are expected to attend the 2026 event at Statfold Country Park near Tamworth on 12 February.

Councillor Richard Holland (pictured), Cabinet Member for High Street & Economic Development at Lichfield District Council, said: “We are very pleased to continue our support of the SLTC Awards in 2026.

“Now in its tenth year the awards shine a spotlight on outstanding businesses based in Lichfield District and the wider area.

“There are many brilliant businesses and entrepreneurs based here and I’m looking forward to celebrating them at the awards next February.”

The Lichfield Business of the Year is one of 12 awards that will be handed out on the night.

The six firms shortlisted for the award are Bowbrook Financial Planners Ltd, Crown Highways Ltd, inLIFE, Lichfield Garrick Theatre, The Boat and The Boss Partnership.
