Council launches open consultation on homelessness strategy

East Staffordshire Borough Council has recently launched a new consultation on its Homelessness Strategy for 2023-2028, following a recent consultation into the Homelessness Review earlier this year.

The Council has produced a draft version of the Homelessness Strategy, inviting residents to share their thoughts so that a finalised strategy can be produced. The draft document can be viewed on the Council’s website.

Those wanting to share their views on the draft Homelessness Strategy can do so by emailing [email protected].

Residents are asked to submit any comments by Sunday 22 October 2023.

Cllr Simon Slater, cabinet member for communities and regulatory services, said: “Following on from the previous consultation, the Council continues to seek residents’ views, this time focusing on the Homelessness Strategy.

“This is a vital document in the Council’s provision of homelessness assistance across the Borough and I invite all residents to share their views on this important matter.”
