Council's public health director to discuss Covid support
Solihull Council's director of public health, Ruth Tennant, will be discussing the latest Covid business support available to business, during a Chamber-hosted webinar taking place next week.
Ruth (pictured) holds a number of national roles including on the Board of the Association of Directors of Public Health and sits on the national Testing Prioritisation Board and national Testing Evaluation Board for NHS Test and Trace.
During the pandemic, Ruth has provided strategic leadership to the overall local multi-agency response to Covid working with a wide range of sectors including the broader business community, education, the NHS, social care and voluntary and community sector.
She will be discusses testing in the workplace, strategies that businesses can adopt during the health crisis and the proposed stages for reopening the economy, alongside other experts, during the Roadmap to Recovery webinar taking place on 10 March from 11am.
Kevin Harris, office managing partner in Leicester at RSM, and Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce's chief strategy officer, Henrietta Brealey, will also take part in the event.
The event is free for members of the Chamber to attend.
