Council to hold pedestrianisation feedback session
Blue Badge holders and city centre residents and business owners are being invited to attend a feedback session to discuss the pedestrianisation of Lichfield city centre next month.
To be attended by Lichfield District Council Leader Doug Pullen and other members of the authority, this is an opportunity to consider responses received as part of the consultation which has been running since January and how that will shape the future of pedestrianisation.
The aim of pedestrianising Lichfield city centre is to make the area safer and make it more attractive to residents and visitors alike.
The workshop will be held on Monday 10 July 2023 at Darwin Hall, Heathcot Place, Lichfield and there will be two sessions - 6pm to 7pm and 7.15pm to 8.15pm.
Invitations for this workshop are being sent out to previous attendees first.
It will ask if any attendees require a reasonable adjustment, for example a British Sign language Interpreter.
The Leader of Lichfield District Council, Doug Pullen (pictured), said: “We are holding another pedestrianisation workshop in the city so that discussion can take place on the consultation feedback we have received so far.
“We are listening to people 's views, and I look forward to having a constructive meeting with Blue Badge holders, city centre residents and business owners next month. ”
