Nexus Creative Limited has announced the winner of its 2021-22 Nexus Creative Prize for Outstanding Performance in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.

The award, which Nexus Creative has been sponsoring for the past eight years, is awarded to a final year student from one of the University of Worcester 's five marketing-based degree courses covering all creative disciplines.

The 2021-22 winner is Eleanor Brooks (pictured), who achieved a First-Class BA (Hons) in her four-year degree course in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Worcester.

Eleanor was chosen from around 100 marketing students to receive the industry award.

The selection criteria for candidates is based on the highest profile of grades submitted to the examination board demonstrating an outstanding level of both commitment and academic performance during the course.

Eleanor said: “I was extremely honoured to receive the Nexus Creative Prize, especially after it being such a turbulent year due to the pandemic.

“However, after four years of blood, sweat and tears, I was so proud of my achievements and I couldn 't believe just how far I 'd come during this time. It just goes to show how working hard really does pay off. ”

Nexus commercial director, Colin Foxall, attended the university 's graduation celebration dinner.

He said: “Nexus are delighted to sponsor this award to celebrate outstanding achievement in marketing.

“It is hugely rewarding and a great opportunity to see first-hand the creative talent that is emerging from the University of Worcester and support the students in this way as they emerge into industry. ”

Since her graduation, Eleanor has secured a marketing coordinator position at the Dorset based, Symondsbury Estate.
