National audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm Crowe has launched a new series of seminars.

The seminars are aimed at giving corporate lawyers and financial directors a clear path to helping their clients through difficult times.

Entitled ‘What can possibly go wrong?’, it is presented by members of Crowe’s Advisory and Consulting team in the firm’s Birmingham office over the next six months.

Ross Prince (pictured), office managing partner, said: “These bespoke sessions are for solicitors and finance professionals who want a clearer view of how accountants and finance specialists interpret information at the start of a matter.

“Our specialists will lead conversations that will help them prepare earlier, advise clients with greater confidence and reduce the risk of unexpected complications.”

The first session, led by Crowe’s Employment Tax team, was held on Thursday 26 March and covered IR35, the off-payroll working rules.

Future sessions include:

  • Business Valuations on Thursday 30 April with the Corporate Finance and Forensics team
  • Cyber Security on Thursday 28 May with the Cyber team
  • Corporate Investigations on Thursday 25 June with the Forensics team
  • Business Financing on Thursday 30 July with the Business Accounting & Advisory team
  • HMRC Enquiry on 27 August with the Tax Investigations team

Mr Prince said: “Participants can sign up to as many sessions as they like, but please note that spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. If colleagues in your firm would find any of these sessions useful, please feel free to share the invitation with them.”
