Cybersecurity experts strengthen leadership team with key appointments

Techcare, a leading Managed IT Support and Cybersecurity provider, has announced a series of internal promotions that reflect the company’s continued growth and commitment to developing talent from within.

Lewis Lydiard (pictured) has been promoted to service delivery director, marking a significant milestone in his journey with Techcare. Having joined the business as an apprentice at just 16 years old, Lewis has played an instrumental role in shaping Techcare’s customer-first service approach and driving operational excellence across the company.

“Lewis’s progression through Techcare has been nothing short of inspirational,” said Oliver Aleksejuk, managing director at Techcare.

“His technical expertise, leadership, and unwavering dedication to our clients and team have been key to our success. This promotion is richly deserved, and I’m excited to see how he’ll continue to elevate our service delivery in this new chapter.”

Supporting Lewis in his expanded remit, Chris Edensor has been promoted to service desk manager. Since joining Techcare, Chris has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong focus on continuous improvement, helping enhance both client satisfaction and internal efficiency.

“Chris’s hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have made a huge impact,” Aleksejuk added. “He’s been a steady presence on the service desk, always striving to raise standards and support those around him. His promotion is a natural next step.”

As part of the company’s ongoing growth and focus on operational excellence, Tim Hepworth, head of operations, will also join the senior leadership team alongside Oliver and Lewis.

Tim’s focus will centre on systemisation and compliance, ensuring Techcare continues to meet the high standards expected by its growing client base, particularly as it expands into larger and more complex contracts.
