Dains appoints chief performance officer to drive growth strategy
Dains Accountants has appointed a new chief performance officer to help shape the group’s plans and operating models.
John Williams joins from Radius Limited, where he spent seven years as director of Finance across the fuel, telematics and emerging business units, and led more than eighteen acquisitions with a combined enterprise value in excess of £200 million.
Williams also delivered major improvements in commercial performance across all three business units.
John (pictured) will be responsible for leading regional and partner performance across the business, supporting the delivery of the Dains strategy and ensuring the group is well positioned to meet the increasing demands for its services.
He will focus on strengthening operating models across the group, aligning people, processes and resources to support sustainable growth and a consistent, high-quality client experience.
The appointment builds on the recent additions of Remy Lammertsma (chief financial officer) and Fiona McSwein (chief client officer), as Dains continues to invest in a leadership team designed to support scalable, sustainable growth.
Richard McNeilly, CEO at Dains, said: “John brings a strong track record of driving performance, integrating acquisitions and building scalable structures that support long-term growth.
“His experience in both transaction environments and high-growth, acquisitive businesses makes him an excellent fit for Dains.
“We are focused not just on growth, but on delivering that growth in a disciplined, sustainable way, ensuring our clients continue to receive the same high-quality service. John will play a central role in helping us achieve that.”
