Date confirmed for Burton’s Christmas lights switch on
East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced that Burton upon Trent’s Christmas Lights Switch On will return to the Market Place on Sunday 23 November.
The switch on will feature a wide range of family entertainment with a main stage and festive food and drink stalls from 2pm. The fireworks display and lights switch on will take place from 5pm, with the funfair running until late.
Cllr Paul Walker, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Cultural Development, said: “We’re looking forward to starting the festive season with the Christmas Lights Switch On.
“It’s always a firm favourite with residents and this year visitors can expect a wide range of activities and food and drink for the whole family can enjoy!”
