Deadline soon approaching for Social Economy Awards 2025
The nomination deadline for the Social Economy Awards 2025 is soon approaching, and people are called to apply.
Nominations will close at midnight on Friday 19 September.
The awards are a key part of the Social Economy Drive, a movement to celebrate and accelerate the impact of organisations working for social good across the West Midlands and beyond.
It spotlights organisations and individuals driven by purpose that makes a difference.
Award categories include:
• Excellence in Community, Creative, Tech, Health, Green, and Youth Impact
• Start-up Enterprise, Co-op, Community Business, and Social Enterprise of the Year
• Public Sector and Corporate Organisation of the Year
• Overall Contribution to the Social Economy (Individual or Organisation)
The shortlist for the awards will be announced on 1 October and the black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony will take place on 20 November at Anchor Point.
Nominations are free and open to any qualifying organisation or individual operating in or supporting the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) area.

• BVSC for their pioneering public sector partnerships and social value initiatives.
