Developers urged to access housing and land funds
Private and public developers and investors are being urged by West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to apply for a slice of its housing and land funds.
Interested firms can apply for cash via the WMCA 's Single Commissioning Framework, a process that provides the chance for organisations to access government funding allocated for housing and land.
The WMCA says that funds will transform challenging sites in the West Midlands into viable development opportunities.
The organisation has also said that working with potential partners, it hopes to make a positive difference to the region by delivering 215,000 new homes and many thousands of new jobs, while regenerating brownfield sites and significantly boosting affordable housing in the region.
