Digital learning firm receives Institute of Leadership grant for second year running

Midlands-based digital-first learning company Make Strides has once again been awarded a Leadership Development Grant from the Institute of Leadership.

Following a highly competitive application process, Make Strides was selected as one of only ten organisations across the UK to receive the funding.

Last year, the business partnered with Primrose Hospice to deliver its Institute of Leadership approved leadership programme, helping the charity strengthen its confidence and capacity to lead compassionate care.

This year, the grant will fund a new partnership with the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, supporting the charity’s small but dedicated team to build leadership capability through Make Strides’ engaging, digital-first modules and practical learning tools.

Gemma Stuart-Young, co-director of Make Strides, who spoke about the company’s work and the impact of last year’s grant at the Institute of Leadership’s annual event at Warwick Castle, said: “We’re passionate about making leadership learning simple, human, and accessible.

“Our digital-first approach helps people develop skills that have real impact on themselves, their teams, and the communities they serve.”
