YACreates Ltd has opened its doors for the first time from a new location on Pitsford Street.

Previously located on Spencer Street, the creative digital manufacturing business moved to the Jewellery Quarter in October 2020.

With growth plans including building a bigger team, investing in more equipment and delivering craft based workshops, founder Yejide Adeoye decided that the business needed to relocate in order to progress.

Specialising in creating bespoke customised and personalised gifts for the public as well as branded merchandise and white label products for trade, YACreates sits well in the Jewellery Quarter surrounded by fellow creatives, crafters and manufacturers.

Yejide siad: “A year into moving to the Jewellery Quarter, a business friend pointed out that there were no alternative gift shops and I should consider getting a more accessible space for people to visit and see our work on display.”

“With this insight and by conducting further research, a decision to move was made in the Summer of 2022. It was imperative for the business to stay in the area and the search for the right location started.

“It took us over 6 months to find what we thought was suitable and another 6 months to get it ready and in shape for visitors.  It has been worth the energy and challenges so far and I would like to thank the Lettings and Estates teams at Birmingham City Council for helping us through this journey, as well as my business advisors and peers.\2

YACreates took part in Birmingham Open Studios 2023 on Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October and is now open for public and trade visitors from Wednesdays to Sundays.
