Discounts on international trade courses on offer
Discounts on international trade training courses are being offered by the International Business Hub at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC).
The two courses, Risks and Rewards of International Trade and Incoterms 2020, are aimed at helping Greater Birmingham businesses understand the changes to international trade within the last year following Brexit and the pandemic.
The Risks and Rewards of International Trade course will take place on 17 March from 9.30am.
This half-day course will help businesses and staff to prepare for all risk and the various aspects of exporting and importing internationally.
It will also cover the implications of the newly agreed incoterms, which is often at the root of many issues when trading.
The course costs £145 + VAT for all members of the GBCC and £195 + VAT for non-members, including a 10 per cent discount for those who book two or more delegates onto the course.
Additionally, the Incoterms 2020 course will take place on 23 March from 9.30am.
This British Chambers of Commerce accredited course is aimed at those working in an export environment and will provide an overview of the changes to incoterms following the UK 's exit from the European Union last year.
It will also provide guidance on buyer and seller obligations and costs.
As well as equipping attendees with the knowledge to correctly classify shipments to reflect the mode of transport and suitability for goods, the course will also be worth one credit towards a foundation award in international trade.
