Discretionary Covid grant scheme opens

A discretionary grant scheme for businesses impacted by recent Covid restrictions, is now open for applications.

Solihull Council is now accepting applications for its Discretionary Business Grant scheme, for those impacted by lockdown measures, and those who do not pay business rates or who do pay business rates but are not eligible for other business grant schemes.

Those that have already received a Discretionary Business Grant payment in December, January of February do not need to apply again, as Solihull Council say it will send these businesses a top up payment.

Payments are expected to be made no later than 31 March.

Specific support is available for taxi and private hire drivers who live in Solihull, impacted by Covid restrictions.
