Edgbaston Priory Club invests £380,000 in new bar to elevate member experience
Edgbaston Priory Club has announced a £380,000 investment in the refurbishment and transformation of its bar and bistro facilities.
The transformed venue will provide an elevated social and dining experience, offering members a place to enjoy great food and drink, celebrate special occasions, catch up with friends and family, and come together for club events throughout the year.
The new hospitality space will be unveiled as club 1875 today (7 September), a name that celebrates the Club's heritage as it marks over 150 years of sporting excellence and community.
Positioned at the heart of the club, Club 1875 will serve as a vibrant social hub, welcoming members for everything from post-match drinks and family meals to coffee catchups and special events.
Working closely with 2G Design and Build and Arcadis, the Club has placed members at the centre of the project from the outset.
Through a series of member forums, consultations and feedback sessions, the design has been carefully shaped to reflect the needs and aspirations of the membership while preserving the welcoming atmosphere and community spirit that make the Club so special.
The club’s CEO Claire Daniel-Lepore said: "This £380,000 investment is about much more than creating a modern new space. It's about investing in our members and enhancing the experience they enjoy every time they visit the Club.
“Edgbaston Priory Club has always been a place that brings people together through sport and community. Club 1875 will build on that tradition, providing a fresh, welcoming environment that reflects the quality and strong sense of community that define our Club. We are excited to open the doors and share this fantastic new space with our members."
