Elvis Costello tribute band set to rock Lichfield
Birmingham band Radio Costello are set to rock Lichfield in a tribute to one of the best-known singer songwriters of the last 50 years.
Playing all of Elvis Costello’s signature hits, including Oliver’s Army, Pump it Up, I Can’t Stand Up for Falling Down, High Fidelity, Watching the Detectives, Good Year for the Roses, Radio Radio and many more, the Brummie band replicates the original band’s stage presence from their classic shows in 1978/79.
The barnstorming tribute act, which comes to the Hub at St Mary’s in Lichfield on Friday October 17, brings together some of the Midlands’ most experienced musicians playing songs from the heyday of post-punk and new wave.
The Hub Creative Director, Anthony Evans said: ‘Radio Costello bring back the energy and vibes of the late 70s with everyone’s Elvis Costello favourites. Better grab a ticket while you can!’
Tickets for the show at £18 are available online via thehubstmarys.co.uk or visit The Hub.
