A Tamworth printing and branding company, which was started by a teenage entrepreneur, is opening a second, larger premises in the town.

The move will be celebrated with a community day for customers, local businesses and charity groups on Friday 8 July, from 2pm to 6pm.

Embello has taken on an additional unit in the Tame Valley industrial park which is eight times bigger than its existing offices in Claymore and will allow the company to produce up to 100,000 items per week.

The new home also includes meeting room facilities which will be opened-up for local charities and community groups to book free of charge.

Visitors to the fun community event can enjoy free drinks and street food style nibbles, free gift boxes including exclusive vouchers, and the opportunity to have a look around the new offices.

Businesses will be able to make new connections and charity groups can also view the community meeting room that will be available to hire.

As well as the 25 per cent increase in the production of promotional goods and branded workwear, the expansion is resulting in the employment of four new members of staff.

The new offices and warehouse in Sterling Park have been designed to Embello 's requirements, including being powered by renewable energy, as the business strives to become even more environmentally friendly.

Kyle Raffo, founder of Embello, was just 17 when he started the business from his bedroom, not long after winning a place at the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy where he was mentored by the Dragons ' Den investor.

In the 12 years since, Embello (previously known as Expand Digital) has gone from strength to strength to become one of the UK 's leading printing, promotional merchandise and branded workwear specialists, winning several awards along the way.

Its customers include Amazon, Morrisons, Spotify and Bentley Motors.

Kyle (pictured) said: “We 're proud that Tamworth is our home and we 're pleased to be able to continue to invest in the town.

“We plan to grow further and employ more local people. To celebrate that growth and thank those who have supported us on our journey, we 're inviting customers and local businesses in the area to join us on 8 July for food, drink and the opportunity to meet new people and make valuable new connections through open networking.

“We 'd also like to invite charities and groups to come along and have a look at our new meeting room, which they 're invited to use free of charge, and find out how they can be supported by our £10,000 Community Fund.

“It should be a great afternoon and we hope to see lots of people there. ”

Embello 's new offices can be found at 2 Sterling Park, Tame Valley Industrial Estate, B77 5DQ.
