Embrace frontman brings 30th anniversary celebrations to Lichfield

Danny McNamara, founder and lead singer of Embrace, will bring a special evening of stories and reflections to The Hub in Lichfield, as the band marks its 30th anniversary.

Embrace have sold more than two million albums since forming, with their 1998 debut album The Good Will Out becoming one of the fastest-selling debut albums by a British artist.

Certified gold on the day of its release, the album went on to sell over half a million copies.

The band has also scored three number one albums and six top 10 singles.

To mark 30 years since forming, McNamara is touring the UK with an evening of stories about the band's history, tying in with the release of a new book documenting Embrace's early years.

Audiences can expect stories, a question and answer session, and the chance to get copies of the new book signed.

The event takes place on Thursday 8 October from 8pm.
