“As one of the region’s best-performing apprenticeship training providers, we know what rules have already changed and what might be changing in the future, so that we can help employers to make the best choices.

“Apprenticeship standards are defined by employers, industry experts and representatives, and we all have an opportunity to influence their development and implementation.

“This event provides local employers – including those who have not worked with us before – with the opportunity to understand the latest rules, share with us their emerging skills requirements, and find out more about apprenticeship provision at University College Birmingham.”

The event will foster discussions about how the University can deliver courses that support and develop workforce needs.

Additionally, attendees will be taken on a tour of the teaching and learning spaces at UCB, equipped with industry-standard facilities across the board for everything from nursing to construction and hospitality, and explore how they can help prepare future workforces for the challenges yet to come.
