Energy switching experts welcome new board member

Small business energy switching platform Tickd have announced that James Villarreal will join as a board director.

Mr Villarreal (pictured), who previously co-founded Glide Utilities, joins the firm that aims to simplify the energy switching process for small businesses.

Tickd provide a fully-digital energy comparison and switching journey that allows small business customers to go online, compare and switch their energy in just 90 seconds.

Mr Villarreal said: “Tickd is extremely exciting and I 'm delighted to be involved. The solutions out there for small businesses to switch their energy are very much in need of a shake-up.

“With a management team I know well and the expertise and backing of ENSEK, Tickd are in a great position to provide the solution that the market has been crying out for. I 'm excited to be part of the journey. ”

Tickd also offer a SaaS model, providing the digital sign-up journey for energy suppliers or white labelled energy comparison services for energy brokers and consultants.

Tickd are part of the ENSEK group, a software company specialising in the energy sector.
