Engineering contractor appoints new marketing manager

National civil engineering contractor, Alpha Construction Ltd, has announced the appointment of Hayleigh Affleck (pictured) as its new marketing manager.

The firm says the appointment reinforces its commitment to clear communications, long-term client relationships and sustainable business growth.

With more than 12 years’ marketing experience across a range of industries, Hayleigh joins as the business continues to build on its established reputation across the UK.

In her new role, she will focus on raising the profile of Alpha’s work, improving how the business communicates with its clients and ensuring its experience and capabilities are clearly understood across its key markets.

Hayleigh will also work closely with Graham Aspinall, Alpha’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) manager who joined the business in September 2025, to further develop and communicate the company’s approach to sustainability.

Together, they will help position Alpha as a contractor of choice across key sectors including flood defence, retail, industrial and food buildings, and energy-from-waste projects.
