Enterprising businesses across Staffordshire looking to grow could be eligible for a new package of services, to help fuel their ambition and recovery.

The new #EvolvingEnterprise initiative from Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub brings together fully funded support for eligible SMEs - delivering up to 12 hours of business expertise, which can be tailored to meet their exact needs.

Bespoke, specialist support in areas including funding and finance, HR, marketing, international trade, recovery and growth is all provided, with a further 120 referral partners across the country able to support the most specific requests from businesses.

The fully funded, three-stage process starts for all businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire with an initial triage session, via Growth Hub 's Business Helpline. This is followed by a one-to-one diagnostic with an experienced business advisor, to establish the specific needs for their company to grow.

Nicola Kent (pictured), business and enterprise support manager at the Growth Hub said: “We 've brought together all the elements we believe can empower businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire with #EvolvingEnterprise.

“It provides a springboard to expert support, which is geared up and packaged to meet the exact needs of individual businesses.

“As we move forward in 2021, the ability for local SMEs to benefit from the extra vision, insight and even emotional support to face the challenges ahead will be invaluable.

“We also recognise that business leaders are busy and, particularly in these times, want to receive meaningful direction and advice through a streamlined process.

“As a result, #EvolvingEnterprise has been developed to connect them with the right experts in a quick and responsive way, from one port of call. ”

The Growth Hub acts as a focal point for businesses in the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership area.

Nicola added: “We 'd strongly urge businesses to get in touch and find out how we can support them.

“We are fully equipped and dedicated to help them succeed in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire and make the transition to growth, so they in turn can support the local economy, and protect and create jobs. ”
