Entrepreneurial skills to the test in charity challenge
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK is looking for Birmingham- based businesses, organisations and sole traders or groups to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test in this year 's £50 challenge.
The charity, which supports families with children in hospital across 12 houses in the UK and has a house located next to Birmingham Children 's Hospital, aims to raise as much money as possible to keep providing free 'home away from home ' accommodation for families.
The idea is simple, start with £50 presented from the charity and over three months turn this money into as much as you possibly can.
On the event, Vanessa Simmons, national community fundraising manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities UK said: “We are really excited to be running this event and we encourage everyone to take part to support families when they need us most. Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on our ability to raise funds over the last year and we hope lots of companies take part."
