Event celebrates county's culture and arts
An event shining a light on Staffordshire 's cultural and arts offering is set to bring together people from across business, education and the public sector to really put the county on the map.
Ambassador Event: A Place of Culture invites attendees to share Staffordshire 's successes across a selection of unique and historic attractions, projects and organisations.
The event explores:
- The importance of culture and arts organisations, events and offer to the visitor economy in Staffordshire
- How historic attractions are evolving to deliver 'experiences' as well as content and connecting with today's audiences so they are relevant in the 21st century
- How culture and arts organisations/attractions are educating and inspiring future generations
- How nationally and internationally renowned brands can help put Stafforshire on the map
- How culture and the community can come together to challenge perceptions and improve our urban spaces
Part of We Are Staffordshire 's wider Ambassador series, the July event takes place at World of Wedgwood on 14 July, 9am - 12pm.
Key speakers from organisations promoting and shaping culture across the county will deliver presentations at the Ambassador Network, followed by a Q&A chaired by Simon Warburton, executive director at Lichfield Cathedral and We Are Staffordshire place board member.

Guests will also receive a free, behind-the-scenes tour of the Wedgwood factory and a self-guided tour of their V&A Wedgwood Collection.
