Event to look at business contributions made by South Asian migrants
An event looking at the positive impact of migrant businesses on the UK 's economy is being held as part of South Asian Heritage Month.
NatWest is hosting the free webinar entitled: South Asian Migration: A Business Point of View.
Asian businesses make up four per cent of UK population and contribute nine per cent of the GDP.
The event on Wednesday 10 August will examine the journey of these business owners, their migration to the UK, how they grew and the challenges they faced.
NatWest will be joined by CR�ME, who partnered with the bank for 'Time to Change ' Report - a blueprint report aimed at advancing the UK 's Ethnic Minority Businesses, and the Asian Chamber of Commerce.
