Events to highlight Commonwealth trading opportunities

Two events aimed at helping UK SMEs find out more about Commonwealth trading opportunities are being hosted by the Department for International Trade.

The events - taking place as part of Commonwealth Games Business and Tourism Programme - are on 8 and 10 March.

Women in Business - Trading Across the Commonwealth Conference, on 8 March,
takes place at Austin Court in central Birmingham.

Guests have the option of joining in-person or virtually.

The free event is designed to champion, celebrate, connect, and empower women in the Commonwealth with a fantastic line-up of exceptional women - including Chamber president Deb Leary.

On 10 March, a Commonwealth Trade Conference is taking place at the ICC.

Expect an inspiring and informative day of keynote addresses from innovative entrepreneurs and senior commercial diplomats.

There will be a number of panel discussions, workshops, exhibition stand and an advisor zone where delegates can network with Commonwealth High Commissioners, government support agencies, commercial partners and likeminded business owners.
