Growth Through People aims to improve productivity by encouraging the adoption of best practice approaches to leadership and people management.

The 30 March conference - which is being delivered online - will feature inspirational keynote speakers including Jess Phillips MP, alongside high-profile panellists and practical workshops on topical leadership and people management challenges following the impacts of Brexit and Covid-19.

Confirmed speakers also include Dr Holly Birkett and Rosie Ginday MBE, who will participate in a high profile panel discussion on managing beyond a crisis.

Delegates can book their places now for the Chamber 's second annual Growth Through People conference, as well as being able to take advantage of a series of expert-led webinars, thought leadership blogs, videos and a mini series on the Chamber podcast channel.

It will also provide an opportunity to network with other local leaders, managers and decision makers from businesses looking to grow through the adoption of new, best-practice ideas.

Both the conference and virtual events are free for Chamber members. Conference tickets are £15 for non-members.

Aston University, BMet College and the University of Birmingham 's Work Inclusivity Research Centre (WIRC) are headline sponsors of Growth Through People 2021.

One final headline sponsorship opportunity, encompassing the month-long campaign and virtual conference remains available for a business looking to showcase their expertise, build brand awareness and embed themselves in the fabric of the region.

Emily Stubbs (pictured), policy and projects manager, Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce said: “The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent rapid adaptation to new ways of living and working have brought about a whole range of new challenges for leaders and people managers across the region.

“In such times, Growth Through People, which exists to share best practice advice and guidance between members of the local business community, is more important than ever.

“This final headline sponsorship is a unique opportunity for an organisation to demonstrate their expertise and share their best-practice in responsible leadership, attracting and engaging talent, unlocking potential, harnessing resilience and more through - and beyond - the pandemic. ”
