Financial planning webinar provides guidance to young adults
Henwood Court Financial, a financial planning business based in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield, highlighted the seven key aspects of financial advice to 25 young people.
The webinar was delivered to young people related to their current client base.
Declan Kirby (pictured), himself a young professional, presented tips and advice on budgeting and tax, the importance of having an emergency fund, how to manage debt, ensuring adequate protection of your finances, how to maximise your pension benefits, buying your own home, saving and investing.
The 28-year-old, who has worked at the firm for three years, said: “It was a great opportunity to speak to younger people and highlight key financial tips to enable those starting their financial journey to make smart decisions with their personal finances.
“These topics are crucial to understand and follow diligently so that you can make a strong start on your financial journey. ”
The webinar titled 'Building Blocks For Your Financial Future ' was well received by those in attendance.
One attendee said: “I found it really useful and easy to follow, particularly the budgeting and student finance section. ”
