Firms encouraged to join free webinar on how to write a winning award application
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce is hosting a free webinar to help businesses put together strong applications for the newly-launched Greater Birmingham Business Awards.
The online session takes place tomorrow (Tuesday 6 October), from 11am to 12pm, via Zoom.
The webinar will walk attendees through the new awards format and application process, offer guidance on choosing the right category to enter, and share tips on building a submission that stands out to judges.
Under the new structure, businesses enter via one of three regional awards - Birmingham & Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, or Staffordshire Gateway - with one application giving entrants two chances at recognition.
Gold, Silver and Bronze regional winners progress automatically to the Greater Birmingham Business Awards.
Marcella Meehan, the GBCC’s event manager, said: “The session is aimed at business owners, entrepreneurs and senior leaders, as well as marketing, business development and HR teams who may be preparing entries on behalf of their organisation.
“It will also be useful for businesses that have entered the awards before and want to strengthen their approach, as well as those considering applying for the first time.”
The webinar is free to attend and open to all businesses across the Greater Birmingham region.
