University College Birmingham (UCB) is inviting businesses in Greater Birmingham to attend an employer breakfast targeted on the green skills advisory panel.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 24 March from 8.30am to 10 am at UCB’s Moss House building and will be joined by Professor Rosa Wells (Dean for STEM at UCB) and Charlene Wall (founder and head of operations for The Wood Manor Group).

It is tailored towards leaders who are interested in the transition to a green and sustainable economy and who believe this transition will be secured through a strong collaboration between industry and education.

It will also focus on identify the skills needed to support operational shifts.

University College Birmingham (UCB) is an accredited Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) Training Centre, giving access to globally recognised expertise in sustainable leadership and practice.

Rosa Wells (pictured) said: “I have long championed the power of collaboration as key to unlocking innovation, productivity and growth.

“The GSAP was developed to improve and develop sustainable training and education opportunities for the housing and construction industry; this is a valuable opportunity to be involved in shaping the development of those green skills across the region.”
