A first aid firm is holding a series of drop-in sessions over the coming months.

Lichfield-based JPF First Aid will stage the sessions at The Queslett in Sutton Coldfield, where people are invited to talk about issues and concerns they may have.

The series includes three sessions specifically for men - with statistics revealing mend find it more difficult to talk about how they are feeling.

The men-only session dates are on Wednesday 8 February, Saturday 25 March and Wednesday 5 April, while the sessions open to all are on Saturday 28 January, Saturday 18 February, Wednesday 15 March and Saturday 22 April.

JPF First Aid founder and owner John Fogarty (pictured) said: “These drop-in sessions are a great way in supporting local communities, allowing people to be able to talk to someone, especially when they may need it the most.

“Sometimes just having someone to talk to means the world to a person and can support them a lot towards their mental health. It is hoped that these sessions will then continue to run from May 2023 every month for the rest of the year.

“Please share the news about these sessions so that we can come together as a community towards helping and supporting each other. ”
