National fitness brand Jetts has been announced as the headline sponsor for this year's Proms in Beacon Park, leading a strong line-up of businesses supporting the annual event.

Taking place on Saturday 5 September, Proms in Beacon Park will once again welcome thousands of residents and visitors for an evening of live music, entertainment, delicious food and drink, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

The event is organised by Lichfield District Council.

Jetts, which recently opened its new gym in Lichfield, has built a reputation for making fitness more accessible while investing in the communities it serves.

Councillor Phil Whitehouse, Cabinet Member for Operational Services, Parks and Waste at Lichfield District Council, said: “Proms in Beacon Park is one of those events that brings our communities together and showcases the very best of Lichfield District.

“Every year, thousands of people come together to enjoy an evening of fantastic live music in one of our most beautiful parks.

“We're incredibly grateful to Jetts for coming on board as our Headline Sponsor. As a business that shares our ambition of encouraging healthier, more active lifestyles, they're a great fit for an event that brings our community together.

“It's also fantastic to see them investing in Lichfield so soon after opening their new gym.

“I'd also like to thank every business that has chosen to support Proms again this year. Their investment helps us continue delivering a high-quality experience for residents and visitors, while demonstrating the important role local businesses play in supporting community events that everyone can enjoy."

Aaron Crowder, gym manager at Jetts Lichfield, said: “We are excited to be the Headline Sponsor of the Lichfield Proms this summer. We are a club that is driven by community.

“We have a strong community within the club, and we are keen to contribute to the bigger community of Lichfield.

“Our vision at Jetts is to be involved in anything to do with sport that happens in Lichfield.

“Although the Proms is not sport related, we are proud to be sponsoring an event that brings the whole community together.”

Joining Jetts are this year's Silver Sponsors – construction and property firm Creative Developments, West Midlands Railway, residential healthcare provider Avery Healthcare, and childcare provider Busy Bees.

Visitors can look forward to live performances from the British Police Symphony Orchestra, guest soloists and the City of Lichfield Concert Band, before the night concludes with the much-loved fireworks spectacular set to music.

A wide selection of food and drink traders will also be on site, creating a festival atmosphere throughout the evening.

Tickets and full event information are available online.
