Fleet firm 's lucrative racing partnership
A leading fleet management firm has agreed a two-year partnership with the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC).
As part of the partnership, runyourfleet, Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce 's preferred fleet management partner, will supply a Jaguar XF Sportbrake as a safety car for use by the club.
In return, runyourfleet will receive website brand visibility, TV and livestream branding, runyourfleet association and branding on the CityCar Cup Championship, as well as various other initiatives and corporate support from the club.
Having historically relied on the provision of course cars and safety cars by the race circuits, the BRSCC made a decision that the club should take ownership of this key part of race meetings by way of obtaining a suitable car for these purposes.
Investigating various options and solutions, Trevor Parry, BRSCC Midland centre chairman introduced the club to Steve Whitmarsh, managing director of Multifleet Vehicle Management Ltd, of which runyourfleet is a trading name.
Runyourfleet services include fleet management, fleet funding, breakdown cover, vehicle lease and rental packages, all of which are supported by a cloud-based fleet management platform.
BRSCC chairman Peter Daly said: “The BRSCC are very well positioned in the motorsport market to offer visibility and value to all of our partners, and as both we and runyourfleet are progressive and ambitious organisations, this new partnership is one that I 'm sure will deliver great mutual benefits. ”
Mr Whitmarsh said: “The BRSCC has a rich history in domestic motorsport, running and assisting a wide range of championships - catering for all tastes and budgets from grass roots to senior formulas.
“The BRSCC 's unending commitment to inclusivity at all levels demonstrates a set of values well matched to our own, and we are delighted to be associated with such a well-regarded organisation.
“Safety is of the utmost importance - whether on the road or the track, and we were keen to help the BRSCC continue the excellent work they do in keeping competitors and spectators safe with the provision of a new safety car. ”
